VP 1.34 verfuegbar
VP 1.34 verfuegbar
Neue Features:
What's New?
* Automatic data backup during GPS firmware update: Prior to starting firmware update, an automatic GPS data backup is performed. This is an insurance against data loss in case of GPS-to-VantagePoint disconnection. If there is a disconnection, the "Restore" function will replace the lost data. The data backup should include all user data such as waypoints and POIs.. After VantagePoint completes the backup, a confirmation popup is displayed. This feature is currently supported only in Triton receivers.
* My POIs: My POIs are user-generated Points of Interest (POI) files that can be created and transferred to compatible Magellan GPS devices. A "My POI" is a location or series of locations on a map that can be searched and used for destination routing. These locations can be restaurants, gas stations, parks, and more. A My POI can be customized with unique graphic icons and organized into categories.
* MGLN file support: Ability to import/export Magellan files (*.mgln) to VantagePoint.
* Restore: A new "Restore" button is added to the "Protect" menu under My GPS tab. When you select the "Restore" button, VantagePoint starts to restore GPS data (waypoints, POIs, etc.) from the previously saved location and displays a status bar popup. After VantagePoint completes the user data restore, a confirmation is displayed.
* Backup: A new "Backup" button is added to the "Protect" menu under the My GPS tab. When you select the "Backup" button, VantagePoint starts to backup GPS data (waypoints, POIs, etc.) and displays a status bar popup. After VantagePoint completes the user data backup, a confirmation is displayed.
* Disconnect: A new "Disconnect" button is added to the "Connectivity" menu under My GPS tab. When you select the "Disconnect" button, VantagePoint disconnects from the GPS receiver so the receiver can be used with other software or as a standalone while the USB cable is still connected.
* Reconnect: A new "Reconnect" button is added to the "Connectivity" menu under the My GPS tab. When you select the "Reconnect" button, VantagePoint reconnects with the GPS receiver so the receiver can be used with VantagePoint. Other software will not be able to communicate with the GPS receiver.
* Additional language support: Five new Eastern European languages (Hungarian, Polish, Czech, Slovak, and Slovenian) are added.

* My POIs: My POIs are user-generated Points of Interest (POI) files that can be created and transferred to compatible Magellan GPS devices.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system>
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
